The Daniel Damilare Peace Foundation is a Nigerian non-profit working to build peaceful, just and resilient societies in Nigeria and across Africa. We combine research, education, community-led action, technology and advocacy to address the causes of conflict, not just its symptoms.

Who We Are

The Daniel Damilare Peace Foundation

The Daniel Damilare Peace Foundation is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and was founded on 22 January 2024. It was born from a deep burden for peace in our communities and for a society where peace education, social justice and harmony thrive.

Our founder, Mr. Daniel Damilare Adeyinka, has long been passionate about a peaceful world, reflected in his academic pursuits and his work in peacebuilding. Seeing how limited understanding of peace, conflict resolution and effective communication has fuelled division in Nigeria, he established DDPF to help build a culture of peace led by informed, empathetic and dialogue-oriented citizens.

Our Journey So Far

Our Commitment to Community

In our first years we have reached more than 5,000 people and trained over 70 Peace Ambassadors, working with partners including United Religions Initiative (URI), AfriYAN, OIPCD, the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund and the Federal Ministry of Youths.

We believe that the most effective solutions come from the ground up. By engaging directly with community leaders and local youth, we ensure our programs are culturally sensitive, locally led and sustainable.
